Who we are
Beth & Ritt are a New York–based musical duo and couple who have been making music together onstage and off since 2016. In that time they’ve co-created and performed the beloved Beth & Ritt’s Holiday Survival Kit, an annual blend of wit, warmth, and joy that’s become a seasonal favorite.
The show features their original holiday songs, clever arrangements, and a touch of heartfelt mischief that audiences return for year after year. Separately, they’ve each built celebrated careers as award-winning composer and lyricist (Beth) and bassist and songwriter (Ritt), but together they create a chemistry that’s both playful and deeply musical.
Beth Falcone is a New York–based composer/lyricist, pianist, conductor, and music director whose work fuses theatrical storytelling with a vibrant musical voice. She is the composer and lyricist of the award-winning Off-Broadway musical Wanda’s World, praised for its wit and heart.
Critics have lauded her “fiery piano playing” (Chicago Sun-Times), “catchy… pop-rock melodies and smart lyrics” (Backstage), and music that “delivers… one terrific song after another” (TheaterMania). Winner of the Kleban Prize for Most Promising Lyricist, Beth has music-directed numerous Off-Broadway productions and cast albums, including Welcome to the Big Dipper and Like You Like It.
Ritt Henn plays bass, writes songs, and lives in New York City. A first-call bassist for many of cabaret’s finest, he’s toured the U.S., Europe, and Asia, worked Off-Broadway as bassist and bandleader, and performed with artists including Chuck Berry, Kathleen Turner, and Ben E. King.
Ritt has been featured with global fusion violinist Dr. L. Subramaniam and played on the Grammy-nominated album To Steve with Love: Liz Callaway Celebrates Sondheim. He’s released four CDs of original music, produced over 200 episodes of ManBassBoxTV, and earned multiple Bistro and MAC Awards, including the 2025 MAC Award for Ensemble Instrumentalist.
